The Celtic Gathering
When we work in the ritual of the moon we enter the sacred space of the Goddess. Here in
There is also a close link between the Wolf and Brigid .In ceremony we embrace the fear of the unknown and the power of the everchanging Universe within we exist.ManY therapists to day fully recognize the powerful influence that ceremony and ritual have over the human psyche
The word lunatic comes from the word luna meaning Moon. Howling at the Moon is considered by some to display some form of madness. However to the Wolf this is a primal urge on an unconscious level that creates the need for the Wolves to howl. This is in a way a form on communal communication. It keeps the pack together and everyone feels safe and connected within their group. This primal communal way of connecting can also be seen within Human behaviour. So when we gather in Rutual we humans can also communicate on a more spiritual level of consciousness that exisits within all creatures of creation including us Humans.
PRIMAL CONNECTION The human needs to connect and feel wanted these are our basic primal needs and are essential to our survival and most importantly our sanity. All around the world the human psyche is influenced by the 28day cycle of the moon. I met a woman once who thought that there were only two full moons a year She has since learnt differently and the connection to her back problem and that her disconnection with her moon cycles responsible for her discomfort in her body. Her back problem has since disappeared .At this time of full moon our psyche is at its highest and it is a very potent time for doing ceremony to manifest healing and compassion upon Mother Earth.
It is through the honoring of the Sacred Feminine at this time do we find the ability to harness the powerful energy of the Moon to manifest balance between the seen and unseen world of the human psyche within mind body and spirit ultimately creating a safer happier more peaceful planet for our children and their children
